Biography

A lifelong passion for law led Scott MacLatchie to a career solving challenging legal problems. He enjoys helping clients prioritize and remains available to answer their questions and concerns throughout the claims process. A positive person by nature, he is outgoing and remains approachable to his clients while zealously advocating for their best interests. He is most fulfilled when his time and effort for his clients pays off with a favorable outcome.

While at the University of Alabama School of Law, Scott enjoyed working at the Civil Law Clinic where he was able to assist clients with limited means gain access to justice. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and received a CALI Award for Contracts.

Prior to obtaining his law degree, Scott graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina with Bachelors of Arts degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice & Criminology.

When not advocating for his clients, Scott enjoys reading Tom Clancy and John Grisham novels, traveling, and spending time with his wife and cocker spaniel. He is a fan of college sports (especially SEC football) and enjoys trying new restaurants in Charlotte.
