Biography

Samantha Pope set her sights on becoming a lawyer as a young child. “On career day in elementary school, I always dressed up as a lawyer, complete with briefcase in hand,” she said. “I am excited to serve my clients whether they are individuals or large employers who provide those individuals their livelihood.”

Prior to joining Hedrick Gardner, Samantha worked in the Appellate Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office. She now devotes her skills to serve clients involved in workers’ compensation matters in the eastern part of the state.

During her undergraduate studies, Samantha interned for Senator Thom Tillis where she gained a valuable inner-look at the work of the Senate. She led Washington D.C. Capitol Tours for constituents, took notes for legislative staffers during briefings and Senate committee hearings, and answered constituents’ calls.

While in law school at the Campbell University School of Law, Samantha served as an Admissions Ambassador, a Student Bar Association 2L and 3L Representative, and as the Barrister’s Committee Chair.

Samantha enjoys interacting with people and maintains a strong ability to relate to others. Her adventurous nature led her to a summer of studying abroad at the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom, an experience that sparked her love for international travel. Her favorite destination so far is Mykonos, Greece.
