Laura Gregory is an associate in the Charlotte office and focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense. She thrives on structure and organization and enjoys sifting through the details of each case to help her clients succeed. She was inspired by several mentors, both in high school and at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, to channel her passion for crafting persuasive arguments into a career as an attorney.
Laura attended the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was the Publication Editor for the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology and a member of Holderness Moot Court. While in law school, she worked as a legal extern for Judge Inman at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. She also volunteered her time in both pro bono cases and as a Girls on the Run coach, and was involved in many student organizations.
Prior to joining Hedrick Gardner, Laura worked at a firm in Davidson, N.C., where she gained invaluable experience on the challenges and rewards of the practice of law.
When she is not practicing law, Laura enjoys running, baking, traveling, cheering on the Tar Heels, and spending time with her friends, family, and dog.
