Biography

Eric Ramirez enjoys the unique challenges presented by each case; he actively listens to his clients to better understand their needs and help them get where they want to be. Fluent in Spanish, he looks forward to putting this skill to use in matters involving parties whose first language is Spanish.

Prior to joining the firm, Eric worked as a plaintiff’s attorney, allowing him the opportunity to view claims from the other side; experience he utilizes to better serve his clients today.

Initially hoping to become a police officer, Eric gained an interest in law during an undergraduate mediation class. During law school, he interned with the General Legal Counsel of Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools for two years and was one of the first law students to present a case in front of the Mecklenburg County Board of Education. In his final year of law school, he taught a legal course at a local college to students interested in law school; an opportunity that afforded him a chance to share his passion for law while sharpening his presentation skills.

While he enjoys his legal practice, Eric counts opportunities to give back to his community among his proudest moments. He has volunteered extensively with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Charlotte where he has mentored several children.

When not practicing law, Eric enjoys spending time with his fiancée, visiting local pubs, fishing, backpacking, and camping. He also enjoys walking his two dogs, Apollo the Husky and Lola the Pug.
