Biography

A North Carolina native, Charlie Vail’s desire to become an attorney grew out of his interest in the laws impact on every aspect of life. He enjoys the opportunity afforded by his practice to tirelessly protect his clients’ best interests.

Charlie interned with the Wake County Public Defender’s Office and the Honorable Hunter Murphy. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for the North Carolina Industrial Commission, a role that provided him valuable insight into the workings of the Commission.

Awarded a full scholarship, Charlie graduated in the top 15% of his class from the North Carolina Central University School of law. During law school, he served as staff editor and senior editor of the North Carolina Central Law Review.

Prior to pursuing a career in law, Charlie utilized his competitive spirit as a sports performance coach, working with Olympic sport athletes from middle school through college. 

When not advocating on behalf of his clients, Charlie enjoys playing sports, reading, cooking, hiking, and spending time with his dog.
