No company is truly a successful contributor to society if it does not positively impact its community.  Hedrick Gardner Kincheloe & Garofalo, LLP. recognizes this and gives back.  Not because we have to, but because it is the right thing to do.  The leadership of the firm and our team of employees demonstrate social responsibility as a normal part of the way we live and work.

As a good corporate citizen, we make financial contributions, as well as perform charitable acts in every community where we conduct business.  Our dedication is evident as employees from each of our offices in Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilmington, NC, and Columbia, SC, support charitable and community activities.

Attorneys at Hedrick Gardner have chosen year after year to provide pro bono legal services to organizations they are passionate about.  Oftentimes pro bono efforts have taken our attorneys to places they would not have the opportunity to experience in the normal scope of their job.  We have been fortunate to have been recognized on both an individual and firm level for our pro bono efforts.  Several attorneys have been recognized as pro bono attorney of the year, one attorney has won the Apple Gavel award and the firm has been honored as the large firm pro bono firm of the year on more than one occasion.

In addition to the pro bono work of our attorneys and firm-sponsored community service, our employees participate in activities of personal interest.  Many are actively involved in the communities in which they live and serve in a variety of community, civic, and religious organizations throughout the Carolinas.

In celebration of the firm’s 60 year anniversary in 2016, we completed a “Celebrating 60 Years with 60 Charitable Acts” initiative.  The goal was to support 60 worthy causes throughout the year, a number that was exceeded.  Click here to read more about the initiative.
