Scott is a partner in the firm's Wilmington office. His practice focuses on the management and trial of a broad range of complex civil litigation.  He has tried over 50 cases to verdict in both North Carolina State and Federal Courts, and regularly handles appeals before the North Carolina Appellate Courts as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Scott was recognized as one of Business North Carolina magazine's "Legal Elite" in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012.
