Shelley has practiced law for a total of 14 years and has served as Partner in our Charlotte office for five years. She also serves as the designated leader of the firm's appellate advocacy practice group. Her practice focuses on appellate advocacy, civil litigation, and worker's compensation. On average, clients call on Shelley's expertise and guidance in more than 80 matters each year. She represents clients in worker's compensation claims, including litigation of injury by accident cases, occupational disease claims, workplace assault claims, fraud claims, death claims, policy cancellation disputes, and coverage disputes. She has extensive appellate experience, handling appeals before the North Carolina Full Commission, North Carolina Court of Appeals and North Carolina Supreme Court.
