Neil is a partner in the firm's Charlotte office. His practice focuses in the areas of civil litigation and workers' compensation. He defends employers, carriers and individuals in District Court and Superior Court, Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of North Carolina in matters ranging from simple soft tissue claims, slip and falls, and up to death claims. He also represents employers and their insurers in the workers' compensation context before Deputy Commissioners, Full Commission, Civil, and Supreme Courts. He is an active member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Association of Defense Attorney, Mecklenburg County Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Defense Research Institute.
